Binance hack withdrawal status on day six tells a narrower story than the headlines suggest. Withdrawals are back, but only for a fraction of the coins and networks that traders actually use.

Key Takeaways

On the morning of Nov 4, 236 of 1,448 coin and network pairs were open for withdrawals, about 16 percent. The other 1,212 pairs, about 84 percent, were still paused at that check.

Phase two added more than 100 pairs on Nov 3, yet most pairs stayed closed. The wider proof of reserves snapshot is due Nov 4, but its proof will take about 40 to 50 hours to generate.

Binance Hack Withdrawal Status: The Headline Versus the Count

News reports keep saying withdrawals have reopened. That claim is true, and it is also incomplete.

A reopened withdrawal system is not the same as full access for every coin.

A morning check of Binance’s network status on Nov 4 counted 236 open pairs across 14 networks. That leaves about 84 percent of pairs still waiting.

Traders should check their exact coin and network before they assume a transfer will go through.

The gap matters because a pair is specific. Bitcoin on one network can be open while the same coin on another network stays paused.

A token can also be open on one chain and closed on another. The headline says withdrawals are back.

The count says most routes are not.

What 236 of 1,448 Really Means

The math is simple, and it is sobering. Open pairs made up about 16.3 percent of the total checked.

Closed pairs made up the rest. That is not a system fully restored.

It is a system in staged recovery.

Phase one started on Nov 1 with major coins on 15 networks. Phase two began at 04:00 UTC on Nov 3 and added more than 100 pairs across nine networks.

Even after that large step, the total open count stayed near one in six pairs.

Which Coins and Networks Are Open, and Which Are Not

Phase two covered BNB Smart Chain, Ethereum, Solana, XRP Ledger, Sui, Arbitrum, Optimism, Tron and Base. It included major coins such as BTC, ETH, XRP and SOL on several of those networks.

It also included stablecoins such as USDT, USDC, USD1 and RLUSD on selected networks, plus memecoins such as BONK and TRUMP on Solana.

Binance said it picked phase two tokens based on user demand over the past week. It also warned that not every listed asset would open at once.

Security and readiness checks still gate each pair, so a coin on the list can still show as paused for a specific network.

That warning is the practical test for users. Do not trust a list alone.

Open the withdrawal page for your exact coin and network and confirm the route shows as open. If it does not, the pair is still paused, even if a similar pair works.

The Fiat Side Looks Further Along

Fiat withdrawals tell a different story from crypto pairs. Binance has reopened fiat withdrawals in 28 currencies, including the US dollar, the euro and the yen.

That progress helps users who want cash out, but it does not unlock a paused crypto pair.

Scammers have also moved into this gap, according to Binance founder Changpeng Zhao. He warned that fraudsters are targeting customers who try to pull funds out.

Users should only use official Binance channels and never share login codes with anyone who offers to speed up a withdrawal.

The Proof of Reserves Clock: Snapshot Due, Proof Still to Come

The second day-six test is the proof of reserves. Binance completed a zero-knowledge proof on Nov 2 for a snapshot taken at 00:00 UTC on Oct 31.

That proof covers ten tokens: BTC, ETH, USDT, BNB, SOL, USDC, XRP, USD1, RLUSD and ZEC. Binance says holders of those tokens can verify their balances were backed at least one to one at that snapshot time.

That proof is real progress, but its scope is narrow. It covers ten tokens, not the full token list.

It also reflects Oct 31, before the withdrawal wave that followed reopening. A snapshot from before outflows cannot prove balances after outflows.

Binance plans a fresh snapshot on Nov 4 with wider token coverage. Co-CEO Yi He said generating its proof will take about 40 to 50 hours after the snapshot completes.

So do not claim the wider proof is already done. The honest status on Nov 4 is: snapshot due, proof still in the queue.

Proof of reserves also has a hard limit. It shows backing at one moment for listed tokens.

It is not a full audit of an exchange, and it does not prove that every withdrawal route works. Both checks matter, and neither replaces the other.

Market Frame: Bitcoin Near $76,900, Outflows Still Large

Bitcoin traded near $76,900 on the morning of Nov 4 after slipping below $77,000 in early US midterm-election trading. The price had dipped to about $76,300 during the European morning before it steadied.

Nobody can promise where it goes next, and this article makes no price prediction.

Net Binance withdrawals stand at about $4.72 billion since reopening, up from about $3.64 billion on the first day. US spot Bitcoin ETFs lost about $399 million on Monday, their second straight outflow day.

BlackRock’s IBIT alone lost about $405 million, its largest daily outflow since June, according to reports citing Farside Investors data.

Those flows show caution, not panic alone. Some users are leaving, some are returning, and Binance said about $2.7 billion has flowed back since Sunday.

The market frame is mixed, and traders should read it as mixed rather than as a single verdict.

What This Means for Your Coins Right Now

Start with your exact pair, not with the general news. Check the coin, the network and the withdrawal status page together.

If your pair is open, move only what you need to move and double-check the destination address.

If your pair is paused, do not chase workarounds from strangers online. Wait for Binance’s next phase update, and keep your funds on the exchange only if you accept that risk.

Moving to self-custody makes sense for many users, but only through a route that is actually open. Our earlier coverage of what to check before moving coins back still applies, and our liquidity recovery update explains why thin order books can still bite even after outflows ease.

For context, the first reopening raised the same question in a simpler form: our report on whether withdrawals reopened and what proof was still to come set out the 90 percent replenishment figure at that time. Binance has since raised that figure to about 95 percent, with the remaining 5 percent in less liquid tokens.

The FBI has attributed the attack to TraderTraitor, a North Korea-linked group, and the total theft stands at about $6.3 billion.

Users who want a deeper check on the reserve proof should read our seven checks before you trust the report. Traders watching the wider market shock can also read how the security scare met a large options expiry and pushed Bitcoin to a six-week low.

And anyone rethinking where to trade should revisit our Binance review for beginners before they open a new account anywhere.

Common Mistakes on Day Six

The first mistake is assuming every coin is open because BTC is open. The second mistake is assuming a token is open on every network because it works on one.

The third mistake is trusting a social media post that claims a paused pair has reopened.

The fourth mistake is reading the Oct 31 proof as proof for today. That snapshot predates the withdrawal wave, and the wider Nov 4 proof is not complete yet.

Check the date on every proof you read, not just the headline.

What to Watch Next

Watch three dated tests in order. First, the Nov 4 snapshot itself and which tokens it covers.

Second, the 40 to 50 hour proof window that follows it, which points to Nov 6 at the earliest. Third, the next withdrawal phase update and whether the open count jumps well above 236 pairs.

Until those tests land, the fair summary stays narrow. Withdrawals are partly back, most pairs are still paused, and the wider proof is still to come.

That is progress, but it is not full recovery.

Frequently Asked Questions

These are the questions traders ask most on day six, answered with the counts and dates above.

Are Binance withdrawals fully open on Nov 4?

No. On the morning of Nov 4, 236 of 1,448 coin and network pairs were open, about 16 percent, and the rest were still paused at that check.

Which Binance withdrawal pairs reopened in phase two?

Phase two began at 04:00 UTC on Nov 3 and added more than 100 pairs across BNB Smart Chain, Ethereum, Solana, XRP Ledger, Sui, Arbitrum, Optimism, Tron and Base, chosen by recent user demand.

Is the expanded Binance proof of reserves complete?

No. The wider snapshot is planned for Nov 4, and Binance co-CEO Yi He said generating its proof will take about 40 to 50 hours, so the proof is not complete on Nov 4.

How much has Binance replenished after the hack?

Binance says it has covered about 95 percent of the about $6.3 billion stolen, with the remaining 5 percent in less liquid tokens that are slower to buy in size.

Should I move my coins off Binance right now?

Check your exact coin and network first, because only open pairs can move. If your pair is paused, wait for the next phase update and avoid unofficial workarounds.

Conclusion

Day six gives traders a clear test, and Binance partly passes it. Withdrawals work for major coins on major networks, fiat routes are wide open, and a ten-token proof is verifiable.

But most pairs are still closed, and the wider proof is still days away.

Judge the recovery by the count, not by the headline. When the open count rises well above 236 pairs and the Nov 4 proof lands, that will be the moment to call this recovery broad.

Until then, check your pair, check the date, and move only what you can actually move.
