Binance has announced that it will fully back the next major update to the Zilliqa (ZIL) blockchain, which includes both an upgrade and a hard fork scheduled for later this month.
The exchange said deposits and withdrawals of ZIL will be paused beginning at 20:00 CET on September 24, 2025.
The network changes are expected to take place an hour later, at block height 10,153,271, around 21:00 CEST.
Users will not need to take any action, as Binance will manage the technical aspects of the transition. Spot and derivatives trading for ZIL will continue uninterrupted throughout the process.
Once the blockchain stabilizes following the upgrade, the platform plans to reopen deposits and withdrawals without further notice.
According to Binance, these measures are part of its commitment to ensuring seamless user access while blockchain networks implement critical updates.
In a new announcement, Binance says it’s adding support for Holoworld AI (HOLO) – a digital asset ecosystem that allows users to create AI agents with personalities – as well as pump.fun (PUMP), a platform that lets users launch new meme assets.
