Who writes for BTCRepublic
Our articles are written by named authors. Each author page lists who the writer is and what they cover. News and market articles are written by our reporting team. Buying guides are written by writers who work through the steps on the real platforms they describe.
Every article shows its author and its publish date. When an article is updated in a meaningful way, we change the updated date and note what changed.
How we research
News articles start from primary sources. These include company filings, official exchange and fund announcements, regulator statements, and on-chain data. When we report a number, we check it against the original source before we publish.
Buying guides are based on the live sign-up and buying process of each platform at the time of writing. Fees, limits, and payment methods are taken from the platform’s own pages. Rules and tax notes are checked against the local regulator or tax authority, and each guide links to those sources.
Price prediction articles use public market data. Each one states the data it uses, the method behind the forecast, and the risks. A prediction is an opinion based on data, never a promise of future prices.
Review and fact checking
Every article goes through an editorial review before it is published. The review checks facts, numbers, sources, and clarity. Articles that fail the review stay in draft until they pass.
Financial claims get extra care. If a claim about fees, taxes, legality, or returns cannot be verified from a reliable source, we remove it or clearly mark it as uncertain.
Corrections
When we make a mistake, we fix it. Small fixes, like typos, are made silently. Factual corrections are made in the article and noted at the end of the page with the date of the correction. Readers can report an error through our contact page, and we check every report.
Independence
Advertisers and sponsors do not choose our topics and do not approve our articles before publication. Sponsored content is always labeled as sponsored. Our disclosure page explains how the site makes money.
